Shimano was founded in February 1921, inspired by Shozaburo Shimano a knife craftsman from Sakai, Japan who aimed to advance metal processing technologies. Today, Shimano is a globally recognized manufacturer in the fields of bicycle components, fishing tackle, and rowing equipment.
GustoBakım was developed with the aim of digitizing after-sales maintenance and service operations at Shimano Service Centers. By enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, GustoBakım has become a benchmark solution, first introduced during the pan-European Shimano Dealers Meeting held in the Netherlands in the summer of 2020.
Our GustoBakım project, developed in collaboration with Shimano Turkey, has become a finalist in a European software competition.

GustoBakım enables a service center to manage all steps from accepting a bicycle to delivering it back to the customer.
You can register your customers and their bicycles, manage daily appointments, and organize your staff based on service capacity. Through maintenance forms created for each bicycle, you can monitor service statuses and track the bicycle’s history and past operations via its frame number.
GustoBakım is a smart software solution that automatically generates future maintenance appointments, seamlessly integrating with your workflow and customer database.
Smart Appointment Feature
With the smart appointment system, you can automatically schedule a return visit for a bicycle based on its current performance during service. The technician only needs to enter how long or after how many kilometers the bike should be serviced again.

Customizable Maintenance Forms
In GustoBakım, you can manage the building blocks of your maintenance forms. Add new blocks, new questions, and define answer types. You can also assign minimum–maximum value ranges to responses to enable more precise performance measurement.
Conditional answers are also possible. For example, if the chain doesn’t need immediate replacement during a periodic check but will in 3 months, you can enter this into the system. GustoBakım will create an interim appointment using the smart appointment feature and send the customer a reminder 3 days before the due date.
From the customer dashboard, you can access full maintenance history and planned maintenance schedules, both for each customer and for each individual bike.
Easily Keep Your Customers Informed!
You can notify your customers via SMS at any stage of a service process. GustoBakım integrates seamlessly with another Gusto Technology product GustoSMS allowing you to send automatic, professional SMS messages using predefined templates.
When a bicycle is received, serviced, or when an upcoming appointment approaches, a message can be sent to the customer’s registered phone number automatically, with no need for manual input or searching through lists.
With GustoBakım, there's no need for phone calls. Just define the conditions for message delivery, and GustoBakım will handle all the communications for you.
