Shimano was founded in February 1921, with the aim of developing metalworking technology by Shozaburo Shimano, a blade master from Sakai, Japan. Today, Shimano has become a global manufacturer in the fields of bicycle components, fishing tackle, and rowing equipment.
GustoBakım was developed with the goal of digitizing after-sales maintenance and service processes for Shimano Service Centers. By improving customer satisfaction and efficiency in the maintenance and service processes of Shimano Service Centers, GustoBakım has become a global model following its launch at the 2020 Shimano Dealers Meeting in the Netherlands.

GustoBakım allows a service to control all the stages from accepting a bike for service to delivering it back to the user.
You can record your customers and their bikes, manage daily appointments, and organize your staff based on your service's capacity. Through the maintenance forms created for the bikes accepted for service, you can track the service status. You can also query the service history of a bike and previously completed tasks through its chassis number.
GustoBakım is software that automatically generates appointments for your customers' next maintenance, operating seamlessly within your workflow.
Smart Appointment Feature
With the smart appointment system, you can automatically schedule an appointment for a bike that needs to come back for service at a later date, based on the performance during maintenance. The technician performing the maintenance just needs to input the time or usage period after which the bike needs to come back into the relevant field on the form. The bike has entered service, and maintenance is complete, but does the chain need to be replaced after 1,000 km? Let GustoBakım take care of the tracking.
Customizable Maintenance Forms
In GustoBakım, you can manage the blocks of your maintenance forms. You can add new blocks, add new questions to the blocks, and define the answer types for the questions. You can also make performance measurements more controlled by entering minimum-maximum values for the answers. You can provide conditional responses. For example, if chain replacement is not required during periodic maintenance, but it needs to be replaced in 3 months, you can enter this time in the system, and GustoBakım will automatically create an interim maintenance appointment with the smart appointment feature, even before the next scheduled maintenance, and send a reminder to your customer 3 days before the maintenance date.
From your customer screen, you can access all of your customers' maintenance plans and maintenance history, as well as view bike-specific maintenance histories.
Informing Your Customers Is Easy!
At any stage of a service, you can inform the bike's owner via SMS. With GustoBakım, fully compatible with GustoSMS, another product from Gusto Technology, you can create pre-made templates to automatically send corporate SMS messages to your customers. You can send SMS messages to the phone number registered on the customer card when the bike is accepted for service, when it leaves the service, or when an upcoming appointment is nearing.
With GustoBakım, you don't need to enter phone traffic to inform your customers. You define the conditions for sending messages, and GustoBakım will handle all the necessary notifications for you.
